SAVANNAH, GA – Mrs. Dianne Pinckney Cobb, 57, of Savannah, GA passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, March 28, 2012.
Dianne was born in Savannah and was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church. She was a graduate of St. Vincent's Academy, Draughn's School and attended Armstrong University. She was a retiree of the U.S. Postal Service and was an employee of the ILA 1475.
Dianne was married for 34 years. She loved life and brought happiness to everyone around her. She had a fire inside of her that will live through her family members forever.
Preceding her in death was her mother, Eleanor Stelljes Pinckney, and brother, J.H. Stelljes Pinckney.
Survivors include her husband, Rommie Cobb; a daughter, Lauren C. Jennings; a son, Ryan C. Cobb; her father, Henry T. Pinckney; three sisters, Donna Pinckney Martin, Sharon Pinckney Fender and Sheila Brogan Boulineau; one brother, Henry T. Pinckney, Jr. and eight nieces and nephews.
Visitation: Friday, March 30, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel with a Christian Wake Service at 6:30 p.m.
Funeral Service: Saturday at 12:00 p.m. at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church with interment following at Pinckney Colony Cemetery, Calhoun Plantation, Bluffton, SC.

Years ago God blessed me with Dianne as a friend. I dont think I have ever met someone with so much love, spirit and full of life. We had so many fun times and we laughed so crazily.
